Can you imagine a business whereby you know exactly how many people make up your market? That's the thing with anything to do with cars, the DVLA publish how many there are of them every quarter. So we know from the figures they published in July 2026 that there are 31.6 million cars licenced on the road which use either petrol or diesel. According to Data published by DVLA in July 2026 the Car EV market was just 4.46% of all licenced vehicles on the road. This means that 31.6 million cars (excluding HGV and LGV) consume Petrol or Diesel, that's 77% of the total licenced vehicles are eligible to use Carbon Offsetting to Offset their CO2 emissions. Why isn't this being promoted more....because if you cant stop your emissions or reduce them any more, then offset the balance.
